Message I still prefer the CZP kit they used to sell (I have them installed on my Z). I like have the angles in the silicone rather than the pipes. I think things fit better that way as there is more wiggle room. That said...

Z1 kit has never fit very good overall for me. I've installed a few. The outer pipes never lined up right. I also dont like the full 2.5" j-pipes that come off the turbo. They fit terrible as there isnt a ton of room between the engine and the fender wall. The tapered pipes that SZ offer are better. The main 4 silicone hoses instead of hardpipes comes down to personal preference. They do offer some more wiggle room but I often found they were squished in some from pressing against the PS res and main fuse box. You also need to notch/trim the frame rail material some for fitment.

SZ kit fits much like Ash's did. Very tight...too tight for my liking. The pipe ends were always touching or very close to the next connecting pipe which I didnt like. I actually cut some pipe off and put a new bead on this last set I installed to let them fit better (create more gap). Also on the drivers side one of the angles is off (I'm not the only one to have/find this issue). Not sure if its called out to do, but I also trim the frame rail and such to add more clearence when I install the SZ pipes as well.
